Large Case Management

"QCP intervention came at the right time before I had to have so many insurance approvals and needed a better understanding of what was going on. I am extremely grateful for my case manager. I wish I would have know about this service sooner. My diagnosis was very unexpected and scary. I didn't have a clue about what was going on, my choices and my insurance coverage. I am very grateful for the assistance I received from QCP."

~Case Management Participant~

Our Case Management program was created to assist individuals through early intervention and effective management of cases involving serious or catastrophic injuries or illnesses. Case managers work with the claims administrator, patient, and healthcare providers to make the most efficient use of health plan benefits over the course of long-term treatment. By concurrently following these cases, we are able to negotiate with providers upfront, direct patients to Centers of Excellence, coordinate benefits to enhance utilization of the healthcare plan, and in the long run save your company money. Individuals that are faced with a catastrophic condition consider our case managers a key resource for information and comfort during difficult times.

Our Case Managers:

  • Implement and coordinate the program by providing guidance and information of available resources
  • Educate, collaborate and advocate for services which may be available to enhance the care of the patient
  • Provide comprehensive feedback to the carrier for better management of your plan dollars while maintaining appropriate confidentiality in keeping with HIPAA regulations
  • Coordinate the most appropriate care setting and/or services in collaboration with the attending physician
  • Are seen as an asset to the patient and the patient’s family by providing support, compassion, and understanding through difficult times.
