Quality Care Partners is uniquely effective in delivering better care at lower costs in a manner that also improves the economic health of participating physician practices.
Quality Care Partners is governed by a Board of Directors elected by our membership. The Board is comprised of representatives from our community, representatives from our physician membership and representatives from all member hospital systems.
Operating under the direction of the Board of Directors, QCP currently has three working committees. The Board is comprised of representatives from our community, our physician membership and all member hospitals. If you are interested in serving on one of our committees, please contact us.
Quality Management committee
This committee's focus is on maintaining and improving the quality of care received. Along with developing and reviewing medical review criteria and reviewing patient utilization and care issues, this committee is responsible for recommending both new providers and those up for re-credential to the Board of Directors for approval. Also under the scope of this committee is the development and maintenance of our disease management programs.
Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee
A sub-committee of Quality Management, they develop and review criteria for medication authorization and recommendations on formulary changes. Reviewing employers’ pharmacy utilization and advising them on benefit re-design where appropriate also falls under this committee.
This committee is focused on the essential function of reviewing the terms and conditions of proposed contracts from third party administrators and health plans for recommendation to the Board for approval. This committee also gives input to the Board of Directors on network expansion and establishing quality and utilization incentives.
